Perak

Bismillaah

alHamdulillaah, we spent last weekend at Slim River Guest House, Perak.(Maryam called the place 'Perak' like it is not the case anywhere else LOL)

We left home on early Friday morning, headed to abah's office, then to Gombak because abah wanted to get a CD of the training materials he was intellectually digesting, mashaAllaah. After the stops, we went up north slowly. Made a few stops at the Sg. Buloh to reload TnG and bought some foods, and at UPSI to fetch kakak-kakak facilitators.

We arrived at around 3pm. The place was nice alHamdulillaah. The facilities were spacious, clean and comfortable even with only basic amenities. As long as the bed and bathroom were nice, we were all happy. Our chalet was just across the green field and playground. Syurgawan were so happy and enjoyed playing there. They liked the swings. Always asked ibu to buai laju-laju and tinggi lagi tinggi lagi! They also enjoyed watching the students doing their activities there. Initially, Syurgawan were just peeking out from the window with curiosity and burning desire to be out there too! The moment ibu said yes and opened the door, whoosshhh they ran as fast they could to the playground!

Oh ya, abah left for Singapore that night, and only back on Sunday morning. We were by ourselves at the chalet. AlHamdulillaah there was a cafe inside the guest house compound where we bought our meals.

Happy alHamdulillaah

Maryam was so proud given the chance to hold Sarah

Playground before leaving

Syurrgawan spent the rest of their times drawing, coloring, and making origami(ibu folded the papers for them LOL). Adam was influenced with Origami Warriors(betul ke tajuk ni?) cartoon laa. His origami could be transformed into robots etc(imaginary play ya). Sarah was bergolek-golek and enjoying her time there. She's got a new technique, kuak lentang! and went all around kicking and pushing on her back.

We left the chalet around 3pm on Sunday. On the way, we stopped at rumah mak Ina to visit opah, mak ina and the family.

Syurgawan were very hungry that they ate mee sup opah dengan berselera sekali dan tambah beberapa kali!

After Tg Malim, we went back to Bangi. It was raining heavily on the way back. Tired and full, syurgawan except Sarah were fast asleep throughout the journey. Sarah was not sleeping as she was enjoying watching the raindrops against the windshield mashaAllaah.
