alHamdulillaah, today we were up early and headed to tadika. Today was the report card day. All of us went to the tadika including Sarah.

It was still early when we arrived, and not many people yet. We went upstairs and met with Adam's guru darjah. Ehehe...Adam pulak yang banyak mengomen. So far, alHamdulillaah. Adam was very good this year and he's gained about 1.5kgs since last time. Yup yup, nowadays Hajar and Adam ate more.

Hajar's

Then, we went to see teacher Su, Hajar's teacher. Uhuhu, Hajar was reported to refuse to attend her class because of a bully inside the class. Hajar merajuk taknak masuk kelas and missed quite a number of classroom activities. Academic wise, she has no problem walHamdulillaah. Hopefully, she'll be okay soon.

Maryam pulak does not has an 'official' classroom since she is just 3 y.o. Maryam hanya jadi murid 'tumpang' di kelas 4 y.o.ehehe..she is a shy girl at kindy.

Bismillaah

cuaca beberapa hari kebelakangan ni sangat best, mashaAllaah. Pagi ke petang dalam pukul 3 atau 4, cerah. Lepas tu mendung yang disusuli dengan hujan lebat. Sidai kain pagi dah boleh kering menjelang petang, inshaAllaah, dan petang pula boleh menikmati indahnya curahan air hujan. Hadiah dari Allaah Ta'ala, alHamdulillaah.

Mungkin bagi yang memandu, agak kurang senang sebab jalan mungkin sedikit licin dan jalan agak sesak dengan kenderaan yang bergerak perlahan. Bolehlah menikmati suasana petang dalam hujan yang menenangkan sambil memandu berhati-hati walHamdulillaah.

Sarah selesema pulak, mungkin sebab cuaca dan mungkin juga sebab tersedut debu masa ibu bersihkan rumah tempoh hari. Lain kali, ibu kena lebih berhati-hati dengan debu bila Sarah ada berdekatan inshaAllaah. Malam ni, Sarah batuk. Uuhuhu..harapnya Sarah cepat sihat, Ameen. Petang tadi dah telefon cik puan taska di Taman U Jalan Pintar sebab nak hantar Sarah mula minggu depan :( :(  not fun.

Petang tadi jugak kami ikut abah ke UIA sebab abah nak jumpa kawan dan ada discussion sikit. Kami ikut sekali bagi ibu dan anak-anak jalan :) dalam perjalanan, semua syurgawan excited dan sibuk bergurau-senda dalam kereta. Dah sampai UIA, para syurgawan dapat berlari-lari di cafe mahallah Ali Abi Thalib yang luas tu. Maryam sempat terjatuh ketika bermain sebab kakak Hajar tertarik tudung Maryam. Meraung sekejap sebelum abah berjaya pujuk. Lepas tu, semua takut nak lari-lari lagi. diorang duduk diam sekejap jer sebelum resume balik aktiviti berkejar-kejaran. Sarah duduk dalam stroller dan kemudian ibu dukung bila Sarah dah bosan duduk dalam stroller jer. AlHamdulillaah semua ceria dan gembira.

Sakit Mata

Bismilaah

AlHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal, hari ni ibu pulak yang terjangkit. Bangun pagi mata sebelah kanan dah merah dan pandangan lebih kabur daripada biasa. Kelopak mata pun terasa agak 'melekat' sedikit.
Sakit mata yang kali ni singgah sekejap jer kat setiap orang. Selalu jugak kena tahun ni. Mata tak berapa merah, tapi banyak rembesan(tahi mata). Biasanya dalam sehari jer, paling lama dua hari. Kalau pergi klinik, doktor hanya akan bagi ubat titis untuk guna 3 kali sehari, dan satu tiub antibiotik untuk digunakan pada waktu malam, sebelum tidur. Dinasihatkan tidak berkongsi makanan dan alatan untuk mengelak jangkitan.

uhuhuh...tapi kita dah satu rumah kan. Duduk kerusi sama, terpegang meja yang sama, dan kekadang tidur bantal pun tertukar-tukar. Biasanya menular lah kepada beberapa orang dalam rumah yang sama.

Sekarang, Sarah tidur nak meniarap jer. Dia lagi lena walaupun sekarang dia tidur sekejap-sekejap. Sarah lagi suka bermain-main sambil tengok quilt dan playmat dia yang comel lagi colorful tu, mashaAllaah. Semoga semuanya membesar dengan sihat walafiat sentiasa.

Hari ni abang dan kakak-kakak semangat bertolak awal ke tadika. Diorang taknak ketinggalan untuk main di taman(sebab selalunya lewat saje sampai). Maryam kata, "(kalau datang lewat) kawan-kawan dah berbaris(nak balik) dah :("

Bermula Era Undur - Pusing - Maju

alHamdulillaah, harini 9 Oktober 2012, Sarah dengan rasminya dah pandai meniarap dan mengundur ke belakang. Biasalah tu kan, undur dulu sebelum dapat maju ke depan.

Sepanjang pagi ni, Sarah tak nak tido lagi sebab asyik nak tergolek dan meng -explore dengan kebolehan terbaru yang dapat dikuasai, mashaAllaah.

Semalam, kami keluar sekejap ke Klinik Penawar dekat dengan SRI al-Amin Bangi sebab kakak dah terjangkit sakit mata - yang agak merah sedikit dan banyak tahi mata. Haritu, Adam yang kena masa nak balik dari Penang. Bila dah bubuh ubat kat mata Adam, cepat jer sembuh walHamdulillaah. Kali ni, terjangkit kat Hajat pula. Moga semuanya cepat sembuh, Allaahumma ameen.

From Parit Buntar to Penang

Bismillaah

alHamdulillaah, kami sampai hampir tengah malam di Parit Buntar. Syurgawan semua dah terlelap dalam perjalanan. Sampai di Parit Buntar, pusing keliling cari Parit Buntar Inn. Agak tersorok dari bulatan jam bandar tu.

Sampai jer inn tu, abah kena dukung syurgawan satu-persatu masuk ke bilik. Semua dah tak larat nak buka mata. Terus lena sampai ke pagi.

Abah pulak awal-awal lagi dah bertolak ke USM. Hari tu, kami breakfast dan lunch dengan bekalan makanan yang dibawa dari malam sebelumnya. Pelajar menghabiskan masa main belon, melukis, mewarna, dan tengok kartun...Sarah bergolek-golek atas katil sambil perhati orang lain lompat, lari, dan bergelak-ketawa(plus nangis pon ada walHamdulillaah).

MashaAllaah, ceria jer semua

Bila abah balik di petang hari, hooraay! semua excited lagi sebab akan bertolak ke Penang pulak. Malam tu kami semua stay di Penang sampailah hari Sabtu. Untuk hari program yang kedua, abah bertolak dari Penang jer seawal 5 pagi sebab nak buat preparation dan singgah check out di Parit Buntar Inn.

Sebelum sampai rumah tokpak, kami singgah di Giant Bayan Baru dan abah beli ais krim untuk semua. Dah lama betul tak makan ais krim dek kerana semua sensitif asyik batuk dan selesema. Jerebu, cuaca panas sejuk. alHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal. Lepas tu, singgah pasar malam cari mamam. Malam tu, syurgawan buat resepi baru, makan char koay cicah dengan ais krim. sedap jugak :)

Perak

Hari Selasa minggu lepas, semua teruja nak naik utara. Singgah beberapa lokasi.

Sebelum bertolak, singgah di Mines sebab abah nak beli 'switch' untuk digunakan semasa program. Sambil-sambil tunggu abah, syurgawan sempat singgah tempat permainan yang ada rides etc tu. Seronok diorang sekali-sekala layan rides kat situ. Satu ride guna 2 points = RM1.

Tunggu punya tunggu, rupanya switch yang abah nak tu dah sold out. Sebelum ni abah memang dah beli alat tu, tapi ada kawan abah yang berminat jugak.Jadi, abah bagi dan ingatkan boleh cari ganti yang sama. Rerupanya, dah habis dijual dan tak tahu bila stok akan sampai. Sudahnya, abah minta tolong kawan tu hantar balik switch yang lama..ehehehe. Kenalah tunggu di Mines sambil makan tengahari :) walHamdulillaah.

Lepas kawan abah dah bagi alat tu, barulah kami bertolak ke Utara.

Persinggahan pertama: Tanjung Malim. Nak ziarah mak Ina dan baby baru nya Uwais alQarni. Opah pun ada sekali sebab jaga Mak Ina berpantang. MashaAllaah, comel betul baby Uwais. Sejuk mata memandang :)

Alkisahnya, dalam masa sejam dua singgah rumah Mak Ina, syurgawan pergi explore rumah tu bilik ke bilik. Curiosity yang tinggi yer. Dalam pada tu, satu botol perfume dan satu cawan kaca pecah..wooppss!
Alhamdulillaah a'la kulli haal :( Sorry sangat yer Mak Ina dan opah.

Selepas maghrib, kamipun bertolak untuk meneruskan perjalanan ke Parit Buntar sebab keesokan harinya abah akan berprogram di USM Nibong Tebal, Kampus Kejuruteraan.

alHamdulillaah, sepanjang minggu lepas kami merantau(ya, di dalam negara sahaja). Weekend lepas, kami ikut abah ke Hulu Langat ahad-Isnin.Bermalam semalaman kat sana. Syurgawan paling suka jalan-jalan ni. Awal pagi lagi berebut buka pintu nak cari katak.uhuhu..alkisahnya katak menyorok. Kenalah ibu bagi penjelasan logik(yang boleh anak-anak terima) mana katak ni pergi? bila dia nak keluar? kaak tidur lagi ker? katak sembunyi bawah air ker?

Hari Isnin, semua tak pegi tadika. Duduk berehat di rumah sambil berkemas-kemas untuk trip ke Utara pulak.

MashaAllaah, Hajar enjoyed experimenting with the cookies and spread in the kitchen. Maryam loves these so much that she repeatedly asked kakak to make her some more. Hajar was very proud and she didnt mind doing it all over again for Maryam (and Adam).

Last Sunday, Adam woke up early in the morning. He was busy playing with a plastic scissor(suitable for children, can cut papers, but not their fingers :) ) when ibu saw him. Ibu just let him doing his business. Adam is usually very quite and very focus when he is doing something he is very interested in.

A few minutes later, ibu found this on his desk. Tadaa! a DIY pencil case. He made this out of a air freshener packaging, mashaAllaah.

A night outing and we've lost our home's key!

AlHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal :) Abah was so busy last week, so we decided to go out for dinner last Sunday.

MashaAllaah, we were so happy spending the night at restoran Sharifah section 7 BBB. They have a new section(new ker? it's been ages since we last ate here) so cool for families that syurgawan loved very much! Big table, lowered so that we could makan sambil duduk atas lantai. I think quite a number of restaurants have this seating choice.

Sarah was on the floor(atas quilt we brought from home) guling-guling happily. However, the waiting time was a bit long that Sarah fell asleep before we started eating!






Nasi ayam was of course fast because it was ready made, but other dishes were lambat that we finished our drinks before the foods were ready walHamdulillaah. Abah decided just to tapau the foods.

Tunggu makanan?

okay, so how about the key? uhuhuhu...so, we went straight home after Sharifah and abah made a quick stop at the kedai runcit to buy roti. When we arrived home, usually abah would open the gate and front door. However, abah said he didnt have the key! We searched high and low, the entire car-inside out. Uhuhu...looked around the porch and even on the road, but the key was nowhere to be found. We even went back to the restaurant and grocery store, searched for the key at our table and asked the waiter, looked for the key at the carpark and still to no avail.oh no!

Ibu was thinking to spend the night at abah's office, but it would not solve our problem. How about tomorrow? how do we get into the house? We went back home, searched for the key again. The key was still missing! and the bad news was we didnt keep kunci pendua(yup, we once had it, but itupun hilang).

So, the two engineering graduates used their creativity to open the door mashaAllaah. I totally felt like a perompak pecah masuk rumah LOL. Senang betul pecah masuk rumah sendiri. How we did it? biarlah rahsia. Dont worry, the door and grill are still intact and in good condition walHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal.

Moral of the story, take a good care of our keys:home, car, office, etc.Buat kunci pendua, simpan kat tempat selamat. Oh ya, another important thing is no matter how secure we think our home was, with the pintu and grill etc, it still can be easily broken into. So, kenalah menjaga keselamatan dan berdoa Allaah lindungi selalu inshaAllaah. Better tie the camel first, and then put our tawaqal to Allaah ta'ala.

alHamdulillaah hari Jumaat datang lagi. syurgawan mandi kolam di tadika hari ni, hari Jumaat hujung bulan. Tapi, Hajar kata dia xnak mandi kolam dan main air, nak main benda lain.pulak dah...uhuhuhu...dah besar anak ibu, mashaAllaah.

semalam, syurgawan ambil gambar kelas dan Hajar ambil gambar graduasi..pantasnya masa berlalu. Hajar dah nak masuk darjah 1! inshaAllaah.

Sarah dan ibu masih duduk rumah lagi, alHamdulillaah. Minggu depan baru plan nak mula hantar Sarah sekejap :( I am sure I will miss her....

Ibu harap Sarah akan disayangi dan dijaga dengan baik dengan pengasuhnya, Allaahumma ameen.

Nursery

kalau dah sampai masa kena hantar Sarah ke nursery/pengasuh, memang satu topik yang tak best kan.
Pagi tadi, pergi tengok satu rumah pengasuh yang ada iklan kat tepi jalan. Sampai kat rumah tu, agak terkejut jugak sebab ingatkan rumah biasa, tapi sebenarnya ala-ala taska.

Kalau boleh, kami nak hantar Sarah kepada pengasuh bukan taska. Memandangkan Sarah masih kecil lagi, taska rasa tak selamat dan kurang bersih :(

Alhamdulillaah the water supply was back to normal. We were out of water as the supply was cut off last Sunday thru mid day yesterday. The SYABAS people told us that the water level was running low at the dam(despite the heavy rains,mashaAllaah, we are enjoying now). It might also due to the increase of water getting into the empangan and the loji rawatan air couldn't handle the large amount of water to be treated in time before the water was distributed to the public.So, they hold the water for a while until all are cleaned and treated. Incidence takda air ni dah berlaku beberapa kali di taman perumahan ni.
Air paip is not as simple as air sungai or perigi at our kampung some years back walHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal.

AlHamdulillaah, sebelum air terputus tu sempat tadah sikit untuk kegunaan dapur dan bilik air sebab memang perasan aliran/tekanan air amat perlahan beberapa hari ni sampaikan tak dapat naik ke tangki air di atas. Bila air tangki dah habis, kenalah guna apa yang sempat ditadah sahaja dan kena berjimat cermat lah guna. Baru nak tau betapa nikmat air tu sangat besar. AlHamdulillaah ya rabb, masih ada lagi air yang diberikan pada kami.

This morning, we were blessed with pouring rain again. AlHamdulillaah muthirnaa bi fadhlillaahi wa raHmatih.

4 mo

alHamdulillaah, yesterday Sarah and ibu went to the klinik kesihatan(again!) for Sarah's monthly check up.
(For all married friends-ladies: you all inshaAllaah will have an additional must-go place once you get pregnant and soon be a mother,inshaAllaah. That is KLINIK, be it your panel,private clinics or klinik kesihatan kerajaan. Once a month-minimum. You might have to visit the clinic more often if needed.

I chose klinik kesihatan kerajaan and did not go to the panel clinic simply because I feel more confident wtih the procedures they do at klinik kerajaan - thorough check up everytime-the lab,pharmacy, etc(including Dental clinic) all are there. I have tried going to private clinics for monthly check ups, but I still prefer going to the klinik kesihatan. Waiting time for both places are almost similar btw. No such getting faster service at the private clinics anymore-although at some less popular clinics you can be seen by the doctor in no time.but again, why don't people go there at the first place? Then, although I dont have to pay for the check up at the private clinic, I can still check how much they are charging(my employer) for my check up. Ohohoh...mahal lor for that simple cakap-cakap and check blood pressure and check sikit situ-sini. Apa-apa pun, it is up to your preference. I am a very kampung style momma.)

ok, back to Sarah. alHamdulillaah she has gained another 400g of weight. ehehe I thought another 1 kilo lagi. It might be due to her runny nose, batuk-batuk, and the teething process. She is 4 months already, and her gums is getting ready and busy preparing for the arrival for her first tooth! She has started to drool, and easily waken up from her sleep.gusi gatal rupanya walHamdulillaah. Lagipun, she is very busy meniarap and guling-guling around nowadays.

While waiting for our turn to be seen by the nurse, we got to listen to ceramah pergigian. It's good to be reminded of the importance of keeping our babies mouth and gums (and teeth) clean all the time. The nurse also recommended us to give our babies a drop or two of fresh water a few times a day to help cleaning babies' mouth and throats. Not a lot of water, just a drop or two ya!
(lots of water is not suitable for babies under 6 months old-it can leads to serious danger to the babies, so please breast fed them exclusively inshaAllaah)

Pergi tak kembali

Awal pagi semalam, abah dengan wajah yang masih terkejut bergegas mendapatkan ibu. Para syurgawan masih lena diulit mimpi.

"Adik C meninggal dunia, kemalangan." ringkas abah menyampaikan berita mengejutkan tersebut.
Terkedu bila mendengar berita tersebut. Arwah masih sangat muda. Tahu-tahu sudah pergi mendahului.
Inna lillaahi wa inna ilahi raji'un.

Jadi, semalam abah dan beberapa orang rakan pergi menziarahi jenazah. Abah seharian di sana. Ibu dan anak-anak pula menghabiskan cuti hujung minggu di rumah.

Moga Allaah mengurniakan rahmat dan ampunanNya kepada arwah.
Moga Allaah kurniakan ketenangan dan kesabaran kepada  ibu bapa dan keluarga arwah.

KLIA

Yesterday, we went to the KLIA to send Br.Shakir & family off to UK. The airport was quite crowded especially at the check-in and departure level. Lots of people are traveling around the world eh! Uhuhuhu...it has been quite some time since the last time we traveled on an airplane.

Syurgawan were busy playing around the  area, sampaikan tempat cek saiz hand luggage tu pun jadi tempat main sekali.
Afterwards, kami singgah sekejap di playground KFC kat belakang tu. Dah berubah rupa sekarang.Dulu ada replica kapal terbang kat situ, tapi sekarang dah macam playground biasa.
Uhuhu..dah tak boleh feeling2 naik kapal terbang anak-anak ni. apa pun diorang seronok main kat situ walHamdulillaah.

a farewell

nope, we are not going anywhere nor moving soon, inshaAllaah. It was just abah's friend and his family are leaving this Friday for UK. The wife is going to pursue her Phd and husband and baby are accompanying her, inshaAllaah.

so, abah and friends held a small farewell party last night, and we all went to the party. Just a small crowd of close friends and colleagues with good, simple foods mashaAllaah. Key persons for the party planning and preparation were kakak Saadiah and Amira, superb, jazakumullaahu khairal jaza.

Children were happy playing around the office instead of makan-makan, and they got their hands on the gula-gula..ohohoho...

yup, ada suasana 'sedih' sedikit. bertemu dan berpisah atas ukhuwwah fillaah.

earlier during the day, ibu and Sarah, accompanied by kakak Saadiah went to the HKL for ibu's follow up. alHamdulillaah, all were ok and the granuloma was confirmed harmless. Sarah was very cooperative in the middle of tons of people in the waiting/lobby area. While waiting for my turn to see the doctor, we sat at the waiting area. Almost all seats were occupied, with lots more standing and some were seating on their wheelchairs. alHamdulillaah, a concern pakcik in his early 40's I guess, gave up his seat and offered it to Sarah and ibu.

I think that visiting the hospitals can be a good reminder for us to reflect on ourselves. Having been there with hundreds of other patients has given me the opportunity to see how some people are suffering from various kinds of skin diseases and conditions. Some looked pretty scary and sad, may Allaah grant them speedy recovery, ameen. This reminds me to be thankful to Allaah for the good health He has given me and my family. Although we may have irritated skins sometimes, they were not serious and we never have to go to the specialists for treatment.

Over the weekend

alHamdulillaah, syurgawan went to school today after the long 16 Sept's weekend. we spent most of the time at home since abah was working all 3 days. Only yesterday we've got the chance to do grocery shopping at Tesco walHamdulillaah. In the morning, we attended Taman Vista Emas' post-eid gathering for all jiran-tetangga to say hi and chit-chatting sambil makan-makan. Pot luck style, very simple and enjoyable mashaAllaah.

anak-anak were happy to went out and spent some time under the morning sun. Apatah lagi ada orang bawak home-baked apam polka-dot. Itu yang diorang serbu makan selain lemang untuk Hajar. Sempat lagi tumpahkan air teh susu yang kebetulannya panas.Menjerit Maryam dan Adam yang kena percikan sikit kat kaki. AlHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal, tiada kecederaan. Lepas makan apam, diorang terjah playground yang memang sangat strategik sebelah khemah tu. Terik pun tak kisah. Dah dahaga, berlari-lari anak balik ke khemah mendapatkan air. All of this while they were in their baju raya. Redah jer, xde protokol. jumpa plak kawan tadika, lagi happening mashaAllaah.

Bila para bapa pegi alihkan pondok pengawal yang sebelum ni diletakkan di kawasan yang dikatakan 'luar' dari taman, anak-anak seronok tengok their fathers in action. macam-macam. xper, asalkan dapat belajar semangat kejiranan dan saling membantu inshaAllaah.sunnah Rasulullaah SAW.

How about Sarah? alHamdulillaah, she was enjoying the scenery and the majlis sambil duduk dalam stroller. She only started 'complaining' when it got warmer and she was hungry. Bila Sarah dah mula berpeluh dan bagi signs nak minum susu, kami pun beransur daripada majlis. straight back home :) alHamdulillaah.

These past few days...

alHamdulillaah, on Sept 13 Sarah dah berjaya meniarap! kebetulan ibu dan abah ada di rumah. Abah yang nampak dulu dan dengan penuh excitednya bagitau ibu,"tengok,Sarah dah boleh meniarap!"

alHamdulillaah, sampai juga hajat ibu nak tengok Sarah made her first move depan mata. Sarah tak hantar pengasuh lagi sebab belum ada pengasuh yang sedia nak ambil masa ni(ker ibu yang reluctant nak sambung studi a.k.a keje?).lagipun, ibu jatuh sakit dua hari:demam sejuk panas,serba tak kena dan tak larat nak buat apa-apa.alHamdulillaah, abah dan anak-anak sangat memahami dan bekerjasama beri peluang untuk ibu berehat sebentar, termasuklah Sarah yang sangat baik mashaAllaah.

sekarang,Sarah asyik nak meniarap jer walaupun selalunya akan berakhir dengan dia menangis sebab tak boleh pusing balik dan penat.comel sungguh mashaAllaah.

Oh ya, Hajar dah hilang gigi susu dia yang pertama pada 9 sept lepas. Dah beberapa hari gigi tu goyang,tapi abah kata takyah gi klinik, biar jer tercabut sendiri-macam kita dulu-dulu.uhuhuhu.alHamdulillaah,memang tertanggal sendiri jer lepas Hajar mandi. Tak sakit dan tak berdarah.memang dah masanya gigi susu tu tertanggal.lagipun,gigi tu elok lagi dan gusi pun ok takda masalah.cuma,dah sampai hayat gigi susu tu terpaksalah dia tanggal secara sukarela walHamdulilllaah.jadi, sekarang Hajar dah rongak satu gigi kat gusi bawah-bahagian depan pulak tu.agaknya itu gigi sulung Hajar dulu kot, ibu pun tak dapat recall...uhuhu..takpelah, yang penting Hajar dah rajin jaga kebersihan gigi dan tak sakit gigi masa proses gigi tu nak tercabut.

Adam pulak rajin tolong ibu kemas rumah dan sidai kain. Siap lap habuk atas almari, sapu sampah, alih sofa, ala-ala interior designer,mashaAllaah.ibu biar jer dia guna kreativiti sendiri, asalkan tak membahayakan diri dan orang lain. Bila dipuji dan rasa dihargai, nampak sangat kepuasan di wajah Adam.

maryam pulak macam biasa lebih suka buat kerja sendiri, kadang-kadang jer bila boleh join kakak abang, barulah dia main sama.lagipun, dia masih nak manja-manja dengan ibu abah.sekarang ni,kalau abah balik rumah jer, terus serbu.kalau abah lambat balik, banyak pulak komplen nya.

Sept 11

AlHamdulillaah, Adam turned 5 today. He reminded us about his birthday weeks earlier, and almost everyday since last week, so that we did not forget to prepare for his birthday celebration at tadika.
He was very excited and looked forward to this day since January I guess. He kept on asking, "when will September come?"

mashaAllaah, and finally today came. We already prepared goodie bags for kindy children last night. Thanks a lot to syurgawan who patiently filled all the cekedis into the goodie bags, and Hajar who refused to sleep before all the bags were sealed with our home printed stickers cum seals. They were excited and enjoyed all the processes. Abah took Adam to the bakery and bought him a cake.

Since Maryam's birthday was 11 July and we didnt celebrate it at kindy, we decided to just make this celebration for them both. So, Maryam and Adam's names were both on the cake and goodie bags. Just to make them happy inshaAllaah.

Back from school, syurgawan reported that all went well alHamdulillaah. All 3 were invited to the front of class and they cut the cake together. Friends liked the cake and said it was delicious. Everyone got his/her goodie bag and happy, yeay!

alHamdulillaah, we were very happy to spend last Sunday morning at Kak Zu & family's place. Syurgawan were very busy enjoying their playtime with all the toys there, accompanied by their 'older twins.' Abah chatted with Adam Ramadhan and akh Saiful, while ibu took the opportunity to learn more parenting tips and wise advice from kak Zu. There were lots of super cute cats too!, but they were caged, so Maryam didn't freaked out.ehehehe.

Around 1pm, we left since kak Zu & family were going to send Adam Ramadhan off to UIAM Gombak. 1st sem for 2012/13 started Monday, Sept 10.

After that we went to walimah Cidos & Anum. Just around the corner. arrived earlier than the pengantin, so we headed straight to the dewan makan & enjoyed nasi pengantin. It was very hot outside, so the airconditioner inside the hall paired with ice cold orange drinks were super! Sarah was very comfortable too. mashaAllaah, it was a beautiful wedding reception after all.

After perfoming Zuhr prayer at the surau there, we went home. Full and tired walHamdulillaah.

okay, sorry for the lack of picture updates in my posts. We rarely took pictures, and we often forgot to take pictures! We were enjoying every seconds of all events I guess ehehehe.

Saturday - AlHamdulillaah, we went to Taman Siantan, Seremban N9 to attend Ustaz Ariff (INFITAH)'s Eid open house. Alhamdulillaah the food and crowd were good. Saw familiar faces from the Akademi Sinergi team. Syurgawan were busy treating themselves with all the kuih, keropok, and cekidis. Adam was running all around with his newly met friends - all boys. It was cloudy on our way to N9 and it was raining heavily on our back: it was dark and cold + full stomach = sleepy walHamdulillaah. Luckily abah was all good to drive back to Bangi. We planned to attend another invitation at Masjid Negara later that afternoon, but with the pouring rain and heavy eyes, we canceled the plan. Yes, worried about the highway get flooded again and getting stuck on the road in a heavy traffic for several hours was a NO-NO(especially with all my syurgawan, including our lil Sarah, on board). So, we decided to not take the risk at all and just spend the evening at home.

Sunday - AlHamdulillaah, finally managed to visit Kak Zu and family after so long that I couldnt remember when was the last time we visited them. Syurgawan were all happy to meet their 'older twins.'

(huhuhu...minta maaf sangat Hajar sebab kurang sambutan patriotik di rumah. Kita tak pergi perarakan dan tak tengok tv)

Abah xde. Abah pegi Janda Baik untuk jadi moderator sempena program Santai para Ustaz anjuran an-Nida'.Abah stayed overnight kat sana. Esok petang baru balik, inshaAllaah.

Hari Sabtu

Alhamdulillaah kami tunggu abah balik sebab kami nak gerak ke Melaka untuk tidur di sana semalaman sebelum ke Muar,Johor esok. Ada jamuan walimatul urus cik(Puan) Adda-dah kawen!

Hari Ahad

Di Melaka, kami bermalam di Emperor Hotel, hotel yang agak lama(berdasarkan perabot2 dan ruangan dalaman nya) dan sedang dalam penambahbaikan(renovation). AlHamdulillaah, tetap bersih dan selesa ditambah lagi kami semua dapat bersarapan percuma-semua anak-anak dapat percuma sebab kolam mandi ditutup untuk baik pulih-(diorang agak tak puas hati yer, sebab x dapat mandi kolam.walhal dah siap angkut pelampung dan baju mandi ehehehehe). Sudahnya, bath tub bilik hotel tu jadi tempat syurgawan berendam main air lama-lama.ala-ala bubble bath. Habis baby body shampoo yang dibawa dicurah sebanyak-banyaknya untuk menghasilkan bubbles sampai puas hati. Lagipun, bilik air nya sangat luas sebab design bangunan lama kot. Memang luas, hampir sama luas macam ruang bilik tidur nya.
Dah puas berendam tu, baru turun breakfast. Makan berselera betul anak-anak kali ni.

Lepas check out, kami terus menghala ke Muar. Tak sampai sejam dari bandar Melaka ni. Alhamdulillaah, sampai tu sikit lagi nak Zuhur. Matahari tegak atas kepala, terik cuaca hari ni. Sampai-sampai jer terus pegi jenguk pengantin kat ruang tamu rumah. Sempatlah jumpa cik Adda sekejap sebelum kami keluar dan makan. Tak duduk lama kat majlis tu sebab cuaca terik dan cik Sarah dah berpeluh-peluh. AlHamdulillaah dia terlelap jugak. Ditambah lagi dengan para syurgawan yang asyik terjatuh kan lollipop yang tuan rumah bagi. Lepas dah jatuh, mengalir deras air mata - pergi mintak sekali lagi pada tuan rumah.uhuk uhuk.
Sempat pulak tu salam-salam dan mintak goodie bags lagik. Mungkin syurgawan dah letih selepas sesi renang+bubble bath pagi tadi. tu yang agak berbagai ragam jugak perangai masing-masing. Adam jer yang berselera makan nasi pengantin, yang lelain boo layan jer.

Lepas dari Muar, kami terus balik ke Bangi. Traffic agak heavy jugak harini. Mungkin ramai yang berjalan raya dan menghadiri kenduri di sana sini. Sampai exit Senawang, kami keluar ikut jalan dalam sebab notis PLUS kata traffic perlahan dari Seremban ke PD(ke vice versa? LOL). Tapi, dari Senawang dah perlahan nya amat, ditambah lagi dengan dracula jalanan yang lapar dan dahaga meratah lorong kecemasan dengan rakusnya..uhuk uhuk.

Masuk ke Senawang nak lalu LEKAS. Sebelum sampai LEKAS tu, Senawang pun penuh dengan kereta harini dan dracula jalanan masih banyak yang berkeliaran. Biarpun jalan kecil cukup-cukup muat jer. Astaghfirullaah a'-a'zim. masih jauh lagi perjalanan kita mengangkat akhlak masyarakat dan menebalkan kesabaran diri sendiri.

Alhamdulillaah, bila akhirnya sampai ke LEKAS, perjalan lancar hingga ke rumah. Yang jadi penumpang pun letih, apatah lagi pemandunya kan. JazakAllaahu khayr abah.

Malam tu, Pak Ngah, Mak Ngah dan Atuk terkandas di Nilai sebab kereta mereka mengalami kerosakan. Diorang on the way back from Bidor to Kluang. Abah bergegas jemput dari Nilai ke rumah sebab dah lama jugak diorang stranded kat Nilai tunggu kereta dibaiki. Alih-alih mekanik kata tak dapat nak siap hari.
Sampai di rumah, all looked very tired and worn out. We had simple, quick dinner before Abah dan Pakcik Arif tolong hantar PakNgah & rombongan ke Kluang. Pak Ngah was very tired and not fit to drive the car himself, but he needed to reach Kluang before Monday sebab kena kerja, so abah decided to hantar ke Kluang. Better safe than sorry kan.

MashaAllah, tabik kat abah lah sebab biarpun penat tapi tetap nak tolong pak sedara dan atuk. may Allah bless him tremendously.

today, our syurgawan were very happy and excited to go to kindy. They told me that their teachers said(ehehe..2nd degree of narration),"esok tak yah belajar. Kita sambut hari raya dan merdeka!"

and yup, they were in their baju raya this morning-all black theme. Adam did not forget his kuih raya. To be brought and shared with teachers and friends.

our youngest syurgawan stayed home with ibu :) Sarah is the process of acquiring the skills and strength to 'meniarap.' alHamdulillaah, she is half way there. Yesterday she has managed to 'mengiring.'

3 months old

Bismillaah

Today was monthly check up day for Sarah. alHamdulillaah, she's 3 months old already, and she is one easy baby mashaAllaah.

Another dose of immunisation injection~ouch! and Sarah has gained another 1 kilogram of weight. I thought she wud gain less due to Ramadhan, but missy said 'Ibu dia makan baeek punya kot." uh-huk. I didnt think I ate that much during Ramadhan, or did I?

Sarah was up early this morning-macam tahu2 jer nak pergi klinik-was not cranky at all. Arrived at klinik kesihatan, cooing a bit then fell asleep. She was up when ibu buka baju dia etc untuk timbang. Sarah stayed awake for the rest of the duration at the clinic : gave friendly smile to the nurse during physical check up, and didn't cry when nurse cucuk jarum. alHamdulillaah, sakit ker tak tu? wallahu a'lam.

She was calm and happy when ibu put her in the stroller and took a short walk to abah's office nearby. Arrived at abah's office, she cried a bit and ibu nursed her. Sarah went back to sleep while waiting for abah to drive us home.

oh ya, today is ibu abah's 7th anniversary. Alhamdulillaah, alHamdulillaah, we've been blessed with a wonderful journey together these past years, and may Allaah increase us in iman, taqwa, mawaddah and rahmah. Allaahumma ameen!

Ramadhan Day 27-29

yep yep Ramadhan left us already, it has been a week :(
so fast, walHamdulillaah, that this entry has to be backdated.

By the end of Ramadhan, people were busier and more distracted with the coming Raya, and us were included-unfortunately. Went out to buy last minute Eid preparations(since before Ramadhan Ibu was still in confinement..uhuhu...last year got all things ready before Ramadhan, but this year was a bit caca-merba walHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal). Luckily, the outings were just 2-3 hours long, and didnt take the whole day! AlHamdulillaah, still managed to finish reading the whole Qur'an with the translations before Ramadhan ended, and didn't miss any terawih.

and yeay! mashaAllaah Hajar completed the 29 days of fasting this year. First timer and she did it well.

abah was in Singapore for the last week of Ramadhan, and only reached Penang around 200am 1 Syawal :). He stopped by at Bidor first to celebrate the 1st Syawal night with Opah and families. The initial plan was abah was to celebrate 1st Syawal at Bidor since all of his siblings excluding Pak Su would be spending the eid with their in laws, but Pak Long's family decided to acompany Opah for the 1st Syawal. Hence, abah left early to join us in Penang.

On the 1st Syawal morning, abah, Adam and Hajar and Tokpak went to the masjid for solat eid ul fitri.
Wanted to go too, but we(ibu, Maryam, and Sarah) ended up missing it.

Ramadhan Day 26

Bismillaah

syurgawan x sabar-sabar nak tunggu hari Khamis sebab bermula esok sepupu-sepupu dah mula cuti sekolah. Diorang semua nak berkampung dan bermain bersama. Apa yang menariknya, semua anak-anak ni berpuasa penuh Ramadhan kali ini(with the exception of Maryam and Adam and the younger ones lah kan). Masa berbuka rasa macam berbuka di asrama. Meriah sungguh bila diorang ramai-ramai baca doa dan makan berhidang. InshaAllaah harapnya tahun depan boleh upgrade dengan iftar diikuti solat berjemaah pula, ameen.

Hari ini Hajar puasa lagi, alHamdulillaah. Jerebu pun dah semakin berkurang sebab pagi tadi ada hujan renyai-renyai. Cuaca jadi sejuk dan nyaman. Hajar pun memang bersemangat berpuasa bersama-sama sepupu-sepupu.

Sangat mendebarkan bila Ramadhan hanya tinggal sikit sahaja lagi berbaki. Adakah kita hanya membazir waktu sama seperti Ramadhan yang lalu, atau kita sudah cukup re-charge iman dan taqwa untuk terus kuat dan berstamina tinggi sementara menanti Ramadhan 1434(kalau dipanjangkan umur inshaAllaah).

Syurgawan juga gembira sebab hari ni dapat kasut raya. Ya, kasut pasar malam sajer, bersederhana sambil menginsafi rakan-rakan lain yang kurang bernasib baik.

Ramadhan Day 24

It was our first day fasting without abah, and the first day of Ramadhan at Penang.
Hajar and ibu had sahur with tokmak as the others wake up and ate earlier. Like usual, we like to postpone the sahur.

Today was just berehat-rehat di rumah, and syurgawan were playing happily all day with their cousins. Lots of them making playtime more fun and sangat bingit, mashaAllaah. As long as the children were happy inshaAllaah.

oh ya, alHamdulillah dah sihat sejak semalam. She is one happy baby again :)

Ramadhan Day 23

Bismillaah


alHamdulillaah, syurgawan were up very early this morning. All were still excited with the 'new' place. Lagipun, today cik mimi, pakcik Shafix,Tokmak,Tokpak and Hakimi were coming from Penang to fetch us. we were going to Penang with them since abah would be heading back to Bangi from Ipoh.

They were waiting anxiously both for abah coming back from the talk and rombongan from Penang. Adam was the most consistent on checking on the time and asking when abah'll be back and when will cik Mimi arrive.

Cik Mimi arrived slightly before 1 pm, and abah came back about half an hour later. When Adam realized that abah wont be going with us to Penang, he started to cry and begged abah that Adam wanted to go back to Bangi with abah. MashaAllaah, memang anak abah. Abah managed to pujuk Adam, so he stopped crying and no longer looking sad. Everytime para syurgawan merajuk, abah is the best person to talk to them and calm them down.

After Zuhr, we said goodbye to abah and off we went up north.

We stopped at Parit Buntar on the way to Penang because Cik Mimi wanted to make a short visit at rumah mertua, and took new tudung stock for their small business.

We arrived at Penang slightly before iftar, and all were very tired. It was a very hot day, plus there was a very thick haze making the tekak sangat kering dan hidung gatal. when we were on the Penang bridge, we couldnt see the island as it was completely covered with haze. The sky was also dark looking like it was going to rain really heavy, but it was not the cloud. It was the haze!

Ramadhan Day 22

Bismillaah

alHamdulillaah, today was a busy day for ibu.Had to mengemas and packing because we were going to balik kampung in the afternoon. Abah had his final talk at UIAM Gombak until Zuhr. Next week abah is going to Singapore from Monday until Thursday to attend a training, so we decided that ibu and syurgawan can balik kampung earlier.

Lots of pecah rumah cases lately especially in the last few weeks before eid, and it's pretty scary to stay at home without abah at night especially when he'll be far far away. Although abah would not be at home too during the last ten days of Ramadhan as he usually went to do iktikaf at the masjid, he would still be just a few minutes away.

Syurgawan were up and running since morning, all were excited while asking ibu "bila nak gerak ni?" berkali-kali sampai letih nak jawab walHamdulillaah.

After Asr, we finally said good bye and off we went to Balik kampung!

First stop was Bidor. We stopped at Bidor to have iftar with Opah,Moyang, and Pak su. We arrived just half an hour before maghrib. Syurgawan were excited to see the new purple curtain, and Adam puji, "cantik dan kemas lah langsir opah." AlHamdulillaah, all were happy and berselera makan berbuka bersama. Tambahan lagi opah dah masakkan mee sup dan pak su sediakan ikan masak asam pedas dan kek batik. Not to mention beberapa jenis air..uhuhuhu..walHamdulillaah, melimpah rezeki kita, jangan dilupa yang kurang punya apa-apa.

After that, we prayed Maghrib and berehat-rehat sekajap before heading to our next destination of the day, which was STAR, Ipoh. Yup, we slept overnight at the guest house as abah would be giving a short talk to the pimpinan pelajar STAR tomorrow.

Syurgawan were very excited exploring the guest house, which was a nice 2 storey unit-old style. They visited all the rooms-door to door. MashaAllaah, very energetic macam tak penat pun berjalan jauh.

For sahur tomorrow, we already brought some bekal from rumah opah and cereal and milk for Hajar.
AlHamdulillaah, Hajar completed day 22nd of fasting today :)

Ramadhan Day 21

The final lap in Ramadhan is here! yes, it is here, ready or not.

Hajar continued to fast today, alHamdulillaah.

Sarah was up until around 3am ish...uhuhuh...her temperature was a bit high, slight fever. She was sleepy, but she was upset with her itchy and stuffy nose. Allaahumma a'fina fi badaninaa, wa a'fina fi sami'naa, wa a'finaa fi baSarinaa. Ameen. Terus marathon berQiyamullail bersama-sama walHamdulillaah.

Syurgawan went to tadika with kakak2 lagi this morning, and came back home around 3pm dijemput oleh kakak-kakak juge.jazakumullaahu khair kakak-kakak!

Abah went to UIA and was trapped in a very heavy traffic on the way back walHamdulillaah a'la kulli haal. It was Ramadhan rush hour-majoriti nak cepat-cepat balik rumah untuk berbuka dan terawih.

Syurgawan were happy because abah bought a jigsaw puzzle for each of them(excluding Sarah ya..ehehe). Adam and Hajar love solving puzzle very much. Last night, Adam got a free puzzle from the cereals box, but the pieces were sooo tiny and complicated that it was pretty tough for Adam to figure out. Abah kesiankan Adam, so belikan yang besar sikit. 3 for RM10.

Sarah still demam sikit. Kena pakai coolfever dan tanggal baju untuk turunkan temperature dia. alHamdulillaah, so far demam dah surut banyak.cuma hidung kadang-kadang sumbat.

Ramadhan Day 20

AlHamdulillaah, yes Hajar has successfully completed the 20-day challenge at 6 years old.

Syurgawan came back home early today, abah prefers to fetch them early this Ramadhan. It's a special month after all.

After terawih, abah went to the masjid for iktikaf. Sarah was not feeling well due to stuffy nose, poor lil girl.syafakillaah habibati.

It has been a wonderful child-parents journey this Ramadhan.
Still remember vividly when I fasted as a child, and now I am fasting as a child, wife, and mom. It feels different, special in each of them.

Ramadhan Day 19

we were on the eve of the last 10 nights of Ramadhan mashaAllaah.

Have we upgraded our du'a this year? I've got the same old du'as as I've been asking since last year with the addition of some dua's(3 new ones learned from the Qur'an). Wonder if I've used this wonderful opportunities during Ramadhan to the fullest. How's yours?

Sarah was a bit cranky when she was sleepy lately, now that requires lots of patience to keep up with ya...uhuhu..ya Allaah grant ibu lots of energy and happiness for taking care for our lil syurgawan. Should be happy, otherwise it'd be stressful ya ;)

Love..love..love! Hajar was anxious to finish the 20 days challenge(by her tadika).She even asked if after she has completed full 20 days of fasting, "lepas tu dah takyah puasa yer,ibu?"  So, got to encourage her to fast as many days as possible inshaAllaah. She looks very thin kan..sometimes we were quite worried about her weight, has she got enough nutrients daily? ya Allaah beri kami semua kesihatan yang baik, Ameen.

Ramadhan Day 18

ya, harini hari pergi tadika :)

Awal pagi Hajar dah berdrama-merajuk sakan takmo pergi tadika..ehehe..jarang bangat Hajar takmo pergi tadika. Selalunya dialah yang paling bersemangat setiap pagi. Mungkin harini she woke up on the wrong side of the bed, walHamdulillaah. Sekali-sekala jer kan.

Syurgawan semua liat nak berpisah dengan buku-buku yang baru dibeli semalam. Kenalah pujuk dan berpsikologi-in which abah was the best person to do this kind of job :)
Adam siap pesan supaya ibu tolong gamkan paper toys dia yang asyik tanggal. Yup yup, Adam main ganas macam paper toys tu patung plastik.

Harini syurgawan balik awal sebab abah kena gerak ke satu lokasi(uhuhu..macam top secret je kan. saja jer) untuk memenuhi jemputan jadi imam dan bagi tazkirah terawih. Jadi, kami berbuka berempat saja, memandangkan Sarah memang tak dapat join di meja makan lagi kan. Syurgawan pula asyik tanya bila lah abah nak balik.

AlHamdulillaah, sudah 18 hari Hajar berpuasa penuh. Way to go Habibati!

Ramadhan Day 17

"Banyak hari kita dah puasa, kan ibu?" Hajar bersuara lembut sambil duduk di sebelah ibu. Di tangannya ada alat permainannya yang dipegang dari tadi.

Yup, dah masuk 17 hari kan kita berpuasa. 17 hari juga maknanya sudah berlalu pergi. 17 hari juga perjuangan kita berjalan. Berjuang atau tumbang?

Harini kami dapat pergi ke Payless Bookstore. Setiap seorang dapat buku. Hajar dapat buku Dora dan satu 'bracelet notebook.' so girly ehehe. Maryam pulak amik clothbook yang sangat comel. Ada detachable toys dan ada beg lagi. Sayang sangat dah Maryam dengan buku baru dia. Ibu jenuh kena masukkan balik semua toys ke dalam poket masing-masing bila Maryam upset tak dapat masukkan balik dan merengek minta ibu tolong walHamdulillaah. Adam ambil set buku Toy Story 3. Dia memang seronok sebab dalam set tu ada buku with stickers, ada buku yang khas untuk buat paper toys, ada buku 3D with the spectacles sekali, dan ada board book. Ralat lah nak pasangkan paper toys tu sebab dia nak siap malam ni jugak.uhuhuhu...seronok betul. Btw, semua buku-buku tu murah sajer sebab diskaun dah kan.

Usaha memupuk cinta buku, baca, dan ilmu. Umat Islam harus jadi umat cendekiawan macam dalam sejarah dulu. Ya, sejarah gemilang berulang, inshaAllaah.

Ramadhan Day 16

Bismillaah

it's Sunday!! but not a sunny day walHamdulillaah.
we just stayed at home, syurgawan played all day!
today Adam managed to fast until 1245pm.alHamdulillaah, a fifteen minutes improvement :)

Uhuhu...all were excited watching the olympic's badminton men-single final match. Hajar sided with 'kuning,' while Adam was with 'merah.' ohohoho Adam just wanted to be different from others. He didn't want to give up to the peer pressure! He got his own style ya. They both kept on asking ibu "siapa menang? siapa menang?" as they didn't really understand how the game works and how to read the score board LOL. Sometimes, they read the expressions on the players' faces to predict who's happy, hence he did well and who's not. Smart! So, they were still entertained eventhough the volume was muted. Maryam as usual didn't bother what's on the screen. She rather played with her toys and books.

Isya' and terawih didnt get delayed by the game, alHamdulillaah. It was an important and interesting game, but meeting my Lord was much more exciting and crucial y'all. The game might be recorded and we can always watch the replay, but isya' and terawih on the start of 17th Ramadhan 1433H would never return.

Ramadhan Day 15

Bismillaah

alHamdulillaah, today Adam managed to fast up until 1230pm, an achievement worth to mention since he usually drinks lots of milk. Today, ibu managed to encourage him to fast as long as he could everytime he asked for milk or food. By 1230pm, he couldnt hold much longer and he got his first cup of milk of the day :)

Syurgawan were happy to have a long weekend break this week due to the Nuzul Quran holiday on Monday, inshaAllaah. They kept reminding ibu that Umi Sarah, their kindy headmaster has told them that they've got a 3 days break. okay, okay, we will stay at home and enjoy our weekend together ;)

Hajar pulak kept on repeating her tentative for August. No.1 Ramadhan, No.2 Raya, No.3 Balik Penang and Bidor, No.4 Merdeka, No.5 Cik Adda kawen, No.6 yada yada yada. Ibu not sure whether she's looking forward more for the events or the cuti, or maybe both!(yah, each event means off school day(s) la kan..ehehehe). Lagipun, she is looking forward for her reward for fasting this (whole)Ramadhan inshaAllaah.Dia tak tau ibu tengah nervous pasal PhD yang dah in hiatus berbulan ni LOL.

Btw, Hajar also noticed that time feels like flying in Ramadhan."Kita dah puasa banyak hari kan, ibu.Tak rasa pun," Hajar said today. Pejam celik, Hajar is just a few days away from passing the 20 days challenge set by the tadika. InshaAllaah, you can do it sayang!

So, how about us so far? I've heard people are changing for the better this Ramadhan: started to put on tudung, covering their aurah more properly, started going to the masjid, started to pray 5 times regularly, committed to praying on time, reading more Qur'an etc. What we have done better this time ya? manner? charity? solah? du'a?

Ramadhan Day 14

alHamdulillaah, today Hajar and Adam went to Tadika with kakak since abah had to leave early to avoid bad traffic on MRR2 on the way to UIA.

ibu had a short conversation with kakak this morning when Adam said,"hai, lamanya.Bila nak gerak ni?" LOL.okay,okay, off to school lah.

Maryam refused to go to tadika again today. She wake up a bit late and didnt want to take bath and go to tadika. It's okay girl.

In the afternoon, all 3 syurgawan followed abah to the bazar ramadhan since yesterday we had a bazar-free day.ehehehe..best jugak makan tanpa makanan bazar ni :)

and oh yes, all of us hold Ramadhan very dear and close to our hearts and it's making us realize and feel that Ramadhan flies so fast. Almost half was gone, what have we achieved this round?

Ramadhan Day 13

Bismillaah

Abah left early today, and the 3 syurgawan were supposed to go to school with kakak. Unfortunately, the sms didn't reached kakak in time, and the 3 syurgawan ended up ponteng lagi-happily of course LOL!
but Adam was a bit worried about kakak though.While complaining that they had been late, he was thinking out loud, "kakak demam kot ni?"..walHamdulillaah. Adam memang ambil berat pasal orang lain.

Today was cloudy as well, the entire day. So gloomy and a bit cold that the mood was turned to sleepy and lazy, but lo and behold! all 3 syurgawan were all energetic and lively up till midnight! mashaAllaah, children were just amazing with their energy levels.

Today we had iftar without abah who was invited to an iftar somewhere in Gombak.

Ramadhan Day 12

Bismillaah


alHamdulillaah, it was a beautiful day with bright shining sun, mashaAllaah.

All three syurgawan went to tadika today, and Maryam wanted to go to tadika because she got to wear the purple baju sukan. She loved it! and of course she loved the 'main taman' day as well-that's every Wednesday.

Hajar has entered the 2nd phase of Ramadhan-fasting. alHamdulillah she's doing very well so far. May Allaah make it easy for her to complete the challenge inshaAllaah :) No more complaining about being hungry in the afternoon. She could play and ran around like she always did with Adam and Maryam.

Adam and Maryam now understood that they have to respect kakak by not eating or drinking in front of kakak or offering kakak foods and drinks during the day. "kakak Hajar puasa lah", they would say to each other :)

walHamdulillaah, it's been a very beautiful Ramadhan.

Ramadhan Day 11

Bismillaah

Entering the second phase of ramadhan, and started to suffer from the energy dip :( got tired easily,sleepy all the time,etc.uhuhu..have to fight nafsi harder these coming days.

Alhamdulillaah,today was a great day although the haze came back. It was gloomy the whole day. At first i thoght it was mendung nak hujan, but jerebu datang lagi! Rerupanya walHamdulillaah ala kulli haal.

Hajar dan Adam enthusiastically went to tadika as usual,but Maryam refused to go and wanted to stay at home. So, Maryam was really nice today and she was indeed penghibur dan peneman ibu. Of course Sarah was enough to keep ibu busy, but having Maryam at home was entertaining too. Maryam dah pandai bercakap pasal banyak benda dan kekadang tu rasa dia sangat matured berbanding usianya yang baru 3 tahun.mashaAllaah.

The race is getting intense.buckle up and better be ready!

Ramadhan Day 10

Bismillaah

Children ponteng tadika harini.

Had a good sleep last night eventhough Sarah was up until around 1 a.m. Hajar was reluctant to go to sleep last night because she was waiting for opah to put inai on Hajar's fingers. Unfortunately, opah was too tired and totally forgot about it. Hajar finally went to sleep after ibu convinced her that Opah already fell asleep, and opah might want to put the inai in the morning.

So, during sahur Hajar was excited. She quickly finished her milk and food before she sat with opah curiously watching Opah putting the inai on her fingers.Finally! (Hajar has been wanting to put inai on her fingers for so very long). She patiently waited for the inai to dried up too.

In the morning, Maryam saw Hajar with the inai and Maryam wanted it too! So, she got it. It was just a few minutes after opah finished putting on the inai when Maryam asked to took the inai off. She wanted to eat keropok, but she couldn't! LOL. Last2, kena suap dia makan itu ini. Maryam just coudlnt resist the food temptations.

We headed back to Bangi at around 11am. Yup, we were at Bidor for less than 24 hours. Quality vs quantity..uhuhu. Everyone was fast asleep during the ride.

We made a stop at Klinik Penawar Taman Tropika to get some medicine for Hajar's eyes. Kena sakit mata belah kiri. So, the doctor gave her eye drops and ointment. Got some vit C's too.

Home sweet home.

Ramadhan day 9

Bismillaah

Children were excited today since we were going to Bidor! They were ready since morning, but we didn't  leave until a bit before Asr since abah had a talk in the morning. When we were finally hit PLUS heading north, abah just remembered that he had to go to Maybank Section 16, so we took Kajang exit and headed back to Section 16! walHamdulillaah. Adam sempat lagi terkejut sebab he thought we were going back home! "eh, abah.Kenapa kita balik rumah ni?" LOL

That's why la we arrived a bit late at Bidor, bought foods for iftar and reached opah's home 10 minutes before Maghrib.

 About death:

Saw a van jenazah on the way to bidor. At bidor,opah wasnt at home.she was visiting a jenazah at Sg siput. The deceased was a neighbour lived across the street. He had just retired, renovated his home, and died at the age of 58 because of liver cirrhosis. His eldest child is going to marry this december, the first to marry :(. Owh, how death is very very near.

we plan,but Allah also plan. and His plan prevails.

Ramadhan Day 8

Alhamdulillaah, it was another successful fasting day for Hajar. A sunny, beautiful Satuday.Today she did not complained of hunger or thirst at all! and yes, despite of all the temptations from her brother and sister eating and drinking throughout the day.

Hajar was supposed to go to an exam for darjah 1 entrance today, but we decided that we were not going.  Hajar is going to a public school inshaAllaah. we pray that this decision is the best for us, ameen.

abah left for a talk at UIA PJ slightly before noon and only reached home during iftar walHamdulillaah. his schedule is a bit tight this ramadhan since he decided to offer free programs during ramadhan.

anak-anak were happy to transform the house into tongkang pecah, and yeah, they had the whole day to do that.uhuhuhu.

day 7

We met again, blessed Friday, alHamdulillaah :)

we started the day a bit earlier with sahur, fajr, surah al-kahf, and daily morning chores.Abah had a talk at UIA Gombak this morning, and children went to school on time. They came back home earlier-fetched by kakak-kakak :) since abah finished his talk a bit late and were stucked in the heavy traffic at mrr2.

today Hajar was crying as early as 600pm asking to break her fast. ibu pujuk-pujuk Hajar to hold on since it was very close to iftar. She was okay then back to sedih-sedih, then okay again, and vice versa until iftar walHamdulillaah.she made it! 7 days accomplished, super kakak! another 3 weeks to go(3 weeks left? owh how fast this race of uboodiyaah is leaving us :( )

lots and lots of du'a, may Allaah give us victory and the best result from this holy month's intensive training, Ameen.

Ramadhan Day 6

It's the 6th day of Ramadhan 1433H day 6th.
It came only once, yes ONCE, and would never came back.
It was very special because it was a day in Ramadhan, yes RAMADHAN in which the rewards for good deeds, be it itty bitty tiny or gigantically humongous, are multiplied, gates of jannah are opened and gates of hellfire are closed...and devils are chained!

okay, today Hajar successfully completed day 6th of fasting. She seemed to be more energetic than ibu at the end of the day LOL! she still drank just a cup of milk and ate very little during sahur despite ibu's many attempts to persuade her to eat and drink more walHamdulillaah.

today Maryam didn't go to tadika, she insisted to stay at home with ibu(and abah who stayed at home until zuhur). She enjoyed her time at home playing around, usik-usik Sarah, and bermanja-manja dengan ibu abah :). When abah went to the surau and office in between Zuhur and Asar, she tagged along. Maryam was happy she got to jalan-jalan with abah despite she had to go home with wet pant because she was too afraid or a bit too late to tell abah that she wanted to pee..uhuhuhu. She rarely had this incident though.

Buka puasa sederhana saja hari ini. We had simple meal and enjoyed our day 6th of Ramadhan!

btw, tonight the children played pretend with Hajar as a teacher and Adam and Maryam as anak-anak murid. Adam sampai nangis-nangis bila teacher told him to stop watching youtube and to pray instead.ahahaha...Adam boleh pulak menurut cakap 'teacher' dan solat dengan airmata. Before that, teacher Hajar told everyone to read Iqra' and books. Ibu pun involved sama as a teacher for reading :)

Yeay, badminton!

Telefon berbunyi memecah kesunyian dan ada sms baru masuk. Ada sms daripada kak Saadiah. Tersenyum sendirian ibu bila membacanya. Ibu terus call abah, tapi tak berjawab. Mungkin program pagi ini belum habis lagi, duga ibu.

Bila abah telefon balik, ibu terus sampaikan isi kandungan sms tu :) abah terus setuju, "mesti Adam seronok."

Petang Ramadhan 5, kak Saadiah dan kak Amira yang jemput Hajar, Adam, dan Maryam dari sekolah. Bila sampai rumah jer, masing-masing tinggalkan beg dan meluru keluar balik. Ibu pun tak sempat jumpa sebab sedang layan Sarah dalam bilik. Diorang excited sangat sebab kakak-kakak ajak pi taman untuk main badminton! Impian Adam yang tertangguh lagi :)

Lama diorang keluar sebab lepas main, terus ke bazar Ramadhan. alHamdulillaah, Hajar bertenaga macam tak puasa. Amazing kan kanak-kanak yang tulus suci ni.MashaAllaah.

Balik dari bazar, masing-masing bawak makanan dan air ice blended yang dibeli. Maryam dengan mee hun sup dan air perisa honey dew, Adam dengan mee hun goreng dan air perisa mangga, dan Hajar dengan nasi ayam dan air perisa kopi(alkisahnya, dia nak perisa coklat, tapi takde kot..ehehehe). Rajin betul kakak-kakak melayan kerenah anak-anak ni satu persatu.jazakumullaahu khair :) Allaah saja yang boleh membalasnya.

Kami berbuka puasa ramai-ramai.seronok betul. Maklumlah belum balik kampung lagi Ramadhan ni. Bila berbuka ramai-ramai terasa meriah biarpun makanannya sederhana jer.

Sambutan pre-ramadhan di tadika

Bismillaah


Tadika ada buat event pre-ramadhan tempoh hari, Jumaat lepas. Anak-anak dapat bernasyid, buat door tag yang ada mesej untuk ibubapa kejutkan sahur, mewarna, dan banyak lagi aktiviti rasanya. Ada pertandingan, tapi anak-anak ibu tak menang kot. Takde bawak balik hadiah pun...ehehhe..asalkan anak-anak ibu dapat belajar benda baru dan seronok, itupun dah cukup, alHamdulillaah.

Ramadhan Day 5

Bismillaah

alHamdulillaah dah menapak ke hari ke-5 Hajar berpuasa tahun ini. Pantas betul masa berlalu dalam semua orang berpesta ibadah. Ibu ingatkan baru hari ke-4, tapi Hajar betulkan ibu. Dah 5 hari!

Pagi ni matahari bersinar indah, mashaAllaah. Cerah dan ceria jer di luar sana. Pagi-pagi masa bersiap ke sekolah anak-anak kecoh sikit dengan gelagat masing-masing. Adam macam biasa sibuk nak bawak bekal ke sekolah.uhuhu.Maryam pula bersemangat sebab harini dapat pakai baju sukan baru yang Umi Sarah bagi minggu lepas. Sebelum ni Maryam takde baju sukan dan terpaksa pinjam baju sukan kakak Hajar yang lama. Harapnya, dapat upload gambar nanti inshaAllaah(kalau abah ada tangkap gambar ler :) )

Ramadhan Day 4 II

Bila anak-anak balik rumah, terasa sangat meriahnya. alHamdulillaah.

Hajar mula-mula tu ok. Tapi, bila Adam usik Hajar jadi sedih dan mengadu sakit perut.pulak....uhuhuhu.
Abah dan ibu kena pujuk Hajar lah supaya bertahan sikitttt jer lagi, dan alHamdulillaah seperti biasa Hajar memang senang untuk bersabar. and yeay! 4th day successfully completed.

Kuih kegemaran Hajar dan Maryam ramdhan ni adalah kuih onde-onde. Diorang suka inti gula kat dalam tu walaupun Hajar tak berapa nak gemar kelapa parut. Dia akan cuba kurangkan sebanyak mungkin kelapa parut tu dan bagi kat ibu atau Maryam. Maryam pula akan habiskan inti dulu dan tepungnya kemudian.
Menu Adam pulak, roti john atau 'burger segi empat' kata Adam. Dia memang berselera sungguh betul makan roti tu.

Ramadhan ni kami makan bersederhana sahaja, pesta ibadah bukannya pesta makan ;)

Ramadhan Day 4

Adam: Ibu, Adam nak susu.
Ibu: Adam puasa tak hari ni?
Adam: Memanglah Adam tak puasa pagi, Adam puasa malam jer.

Adam dengan selamba menjawab bila ditanya puasa atau tak sambil berdiri menunggu ibu membancuh susu sebelum pergi ke sekolah hari ini :)

AlHamdulillaah, Hajar bangun sahur lagi pagi ini. Tapi, dia tak makan banyak memandangkan dah makan banyak semalam. Dah jadi kebiasaan Hajar yang dia hanya akan makan banyak(tak banyak pun, cuma lebih sedikit dari kebiasaan :) ) sekali jer dalam masa sehari dua. Harapnya Hajar tetap cergas dan aktif hari ini. Selepas sahur, Hajar tak tidur. Dia berjaga sama dengan ibu. Masa ibu kemaskan beg anak-anak, Hajar minta kebenaran bawa bantal ke sekolah. Tak cukup bantal katanya. Lagipun, bulan puasa ni kena tidur lepas zuhur dan takde belajar extra macam bulan-bulan lain. Jadi, ibu bagi Hajar bawa satu bantal kecil.

Harini, langit mendung dan udara terasa sejuk, segar dan nyaman. Anak-anak semua ke tadika awal memandangkan Hajar dah kejutkan adik-adik untuk bangun mandi dan bersiap awal. semua bangun tanpa banyak kerenah dan mandi dengan gembira. Adam sempat bawa bekal sebelum keluar rumah, macam biasa :)
